Welcome to the Gold Standard Hampers Website ("the Site"). The following are the terms and conditions for use of and purchase of products from the Site. Use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms as amended.
 
Pricing & Availability

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. If a product is not available then a product of equal or greater value will be substituted in its place. All photographs are accompanied by an itemised list fairly describing the contents. Every reasonable effort has been made to accurately reflect actual colours, however, due to variances between monitors, colours cannot be guaranteed.

Payment

All payment processing is made via Paypal, which is the world's largest and most secure online payment system and used by thousands of online businesses. Your credit card details will be processed on secure servers at Paypal so your details are safe and we promise not to give out any details to third party companies.


Cancellation & Returns

We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If for whatever reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return it within 7 days of receipt for a refund (excluding delivery cost). Returned product must be in its original packaging and in resalable condition. We regret that we cannot refund the cost of returning the product to us.
Returns must be notified in writing to the Gold Standard Hampers within 48 hours of purchase/deliver the order.
Please enclose the order number, contact name and phone number in order for us to be able to process the refund or exchange.
Return of Faulty Goods
Where goods are faulty, full refunds or exchanges will be offered, but you must notify us of the damage within 24 hours of receipt of the goods. We can only accept returned goods that have been sent via recorded delivery so that you have proof of receipt. We will refund the cost of postage should your claim be accepted.

Delivery & Notification

We will endeavor to dispatch the Products to you within 2 working days of your order. Postage is via An Post costing from €2 to €6.50 and takes 1-3 working days for smaller parcels and 1 day for larger parcels within Ireland. Couriers charge via Fastway Couriers is €12 and are usually delivered next. Please note that these times are from time of dispatch not time of ordering. Please contact us for shipping rates and delivery times outside of Ireland and Northern Ireland. All larger parcels sent via on Post or courier will ahve tracking numbers if your order is taking longer than expected or you wish to track it please contact us and we will supply tracking number.

Where orders are placed after notified last order date the Gold Standard Hampers does not accept responsibility for late delivery. Proof of Delivery of gift(s) shall be good evidence of delivery of the specific gift(s) as requested by the customer and no question shall be raised as to delivery of individual items therein. Risk in respect of goods transfers to you the buyer upon execution of delivery docket. You are responsible for providing correct address telephone number and postal code. The Gold Standard Hampers cannot accept responsibility for late or non-delivery if recipient address and telephone details are insufficient or incorrect. Claims for non-delivery must be made within 7 days of dispatch of goods. Gold Standard Hampers cannot be responsible should local customs authorities wish to confiscate any product or any particular item contained in a gift or hamper, or charge any duty. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and dispatch as soon as it arrives. All items are subject to availability. If any item is unavailable it will be replaced by another of equal or greater value. Any shortfall or damaged goods must be notified to the Gold Standard Hampers within two days of receipt of goods.
 
Taxes

All prices shown on this site are inclusive of VAT (Sales tax) @21%. Our VAT registration number is IE 5349056S. Please note orders outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges. We are unable to accept responsibility for charges levied by other countries.


Ownership Rights & Limitation

This Site, its contents together with any trade names used by the Company are protected by intellectual property rights and permission is only given for personal use. Any use beyond that permitted may constitute an infringement of owners' rights and may be prosecuted.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The information contained in the Website is for information purposes only and, although we have made every effort to ensure the correctness of the information contained herein, the information available through the Website is provided "as is" and "as available" and without warranties or conditions of any kind either express or implied. We do not warrant or represent that the use or the results of the use of the materials available through the Website or from third parties will be correct, accurate timely, reliable or otherwise. We accept no liability in relation to any of the above other than as may be provided for under your statutory rights.
Except as specifically stated on this website, to the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Gold Standard Hampers nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included on this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.


Limitation as to Damages

Gold Standard Hampers shall take all reasonable care in packaging any fragile or breakable items. In the event that any such items are damaged in transit the Company shall be responsible for replacement costs of item only. The Company shall not in any way be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused.
 
Confirmation and Governing Law

A contract between you and Gold Standard Hampers for the sale of our products will only exist once we confirm your order by emailing you to confirm that your order has been accepted. The contract shall be deemed to have been concluded in Ireland.

General

The company is unable to accept personalized gift cards, though we are happy to include our gift card with your message. Unless you indicate otherwise your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to the Company replying to you by electronic mail for such purposes as the Company may consider appropriate. The Company does not accept any responsibility to the extent that the Site is connected to any other sites or services beyond its the control. It is the policy of Gold Standard Hampers to ensure that all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. To this end it is our policy that we do not exchange food, beverage or any other item that may come in contact with the person. The Company reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company and reserves the right to deny access to the Site. Gold Standard Hampers cannot be responsible for delays due to custom regulations outside the EU. Gold Standard Hampers registered business number (RBN) is 353800. This site is provided through English only.
